Opera Kensington is a charity that is dedicated to provide performance opportunities for aspiring singers, conductors, instrumentalists and stage directors so that they can progress to a professional career. In doing so, we also offer affordable operas to the local community.
We perform a wide selection of opera extracts, usually in the original language. We produce several opera galas and a semi-staged production every year. New members are always welcome. Principal roles are filled by audition but there are no audition for the chorus. Some of our productions involve an orchestra or instrumental ensemble, so we are also delighted to hear from instrumentalists.
